
Nicole Moerland graduated from the Stella Adler Conservatory in LA 2007. In LA she played in the film the 'Search of Caravaggio' directed by Maureen Murphy where she plays Angelien. She was also the lead character in TV film Hot Ice, based on Robin Schones's (New York Times Best seller). Where she plays a jewellery thief.
In 2006 she was in a short film called Waiting Room, which won best dramatic short at the North Hollywood film festival. She played a young girl who is torn between suicide and life. Most recently she will be seen in The preparation directed by Lou Hamburger. Where she plays Tina, a British law student in search for answers about the 9/11 conspiracy theories.
Early 2008 she was in the NBC Universal-13th Street Promo stunt short directed by Doris Yeung and coached under Rutger Hauer (film factory). She presented a daily show called Wannahaves which is broadcasted internationally. The show features news and items about the latest gadgets, travel and lifestyle.
October 2009 her co-produced short film Lonesome went into premiere at the I've seen films festival in Milan.
November 2009 she plays the role of Linda in the feature film The Blue Horse with Anthonie Kamerling, which goes into premiere at the Scenecs film festival.
Her love for acting started at a very early age. At the age of 8 she was already performing in professional fully booked theatres. As a teen she was featured in Don Quixote directed by Peter Yates, staring John Lithgow and Bob Hoskins. She played a small role as young princess Pantabalon. When on a professional movie set her eyes opened and she knew she wanted to pursue an acting career. Soon after that she was featured in a music video for the band Deep Ocean Blue as a young bride.
She has an immense love for theatre and played in her favourite play The Lonesome West written by Martin McDonough on the LA stage.
Last summer she was seen at the Royal Theatre (koninklijke schouwburg) in the Netherlands Den Haag. She played Natalya in Chekhov's play The Proposal directed by Ellis van Marsenveen (Tusk Theatre group). Between jobs she has also been in several commercials. Last summer she shot a commercial for RET directed by Frans Weisz and Mars directed by Robert Jan Vos.
She is a Dutch-English all-round actress who speaks near native Spanish, native Dutch and native English. Her uniqueness lies in the fact that she has perfected her accents. She is able to play roles that are British to standard American and many more. In Dutch she can also perform in a different accent. She is an actress that continues to develop herself and is dedicated to her craft and progress with love, passion, joy and inspiration.
